In memory of Elizabeth (Liz) Small, Tommy's mum, Shaper/Caper have set up a special project called Dancing for Liz, to bring interactive dance performances and workshops to hospitals that Liz had stayed in. The workshops are specifically developed for older people and build on the long history of work that the company have built working with people living with dementia and Alzheimer's.
Liz spent such a huge amount of time bored in hospitals over the last few years of her life so we want to give a little something back to try to improve the day to day experience of people in the wards that Liz had stayed in. As a registered charity (SC047014), we are lucky to work with brilliant performers and dance teachers so in lieu of flowers, we appreciate your generous donation to the Dancing for Liz project to allow a team of performers and educators to lead interactive creative dance sessions for patients in care settings. All in the hope of making people's hospital stays a little bit more exciting and bearable. 100% of every donation goes directly to this cause! You can add your name so that we can credit that your donation helped us to run the project (or put Anonymous if you don't wish to be credited).
